Been like that here the last 3/4 years. If I’ve not got something to hand or imminent, whip the colostrum off them, freeze it and turn them out to dry off, clean up and cash them all mid MayPrice of cull ewes I couldn’t be arsed to go and buy lambs to put on them.
Might be the making of me!They say they have good gyms n all , out with a 6 pack and ready for clipping time ,
I’ve heard it’s 3 cooked meals a day and sex on tap can’t understand why more folk don’t want to go.Might be the making of me!
It might be sex on tap but unfortunately you’ll be on the receiving end of it….wether you want it or not….I’ve heard it’s 3 cooked meals a day and sex on tap can’t understand why more folk don’t want to go.

Certainly not risen, buyers perhaps a bit more picky. Would they have been more Carlisle, etc?Your ‘nothing special’ cattle look very good to me
Have they dropped a bit?
Hard to say Barney has had dearer sales in the previous months than Carlisle. I can remember looking at what you sold and some folks near here and they looked dearer. The weekly sales at Carlisle have a fairly careful bunch of buyers. Saturdays sale would have some very good cattle well turned out and big for age. I took some last year the best made more than on a weekly sale the average ones made a bit less. Don’t think you are far wrong there reallyCertainly not risen, buyers perhaps a bit more picky. Would they have been more Carlisle, etc?
Brecon posted earlier on FB, from memory SQQ was in the 3.60's and average 3.56, as you say Facebook is down nowAnyone heard any lamb or cull ewe prices this morning ?

I was just thinking that. They are good cattle. I dont think they would make much more at Carlisle on a normal Wednesday. They have to be older and bigger to get the heights there.Your ‘nothing special’ cattle look very good to me
