Confounding many prior predictions Brexit itself appears to have had next to no economic impact at all. The Tories have done poorly in taking advantages of Brexit-enabled opportunities but that’s another story.

Those are cherry picked or deliberately out of context stats.

Look back.
Read the GDP numbers.
I've learnt two things today about you lot.
Why you voted brexit.
That your bank managers advisors and accountants are the most patient people on earth. (Or more likely robbing you blind)
You don't understand, it's simple, maybe you just blind to it.
We're talking about gdp per capita and you comparing 1955 to now, just idiocy

Must have missed that sensible government, the one with cameron in charge?
Compared to the current government a pre school playgroup looks sensible
There was a resounding vote for “getting Brexit done”, that the Government haven’t done a particularly good job (IMO) doesn’t take anything away from what the people wanted
There was a resounding vote for the Brexit the public were promised. Sunlit uplands ,a curb on immigration, the rest of the world clamouring to do deals with the UK because we held all the cards and unicorns roaming the countryside etc. etc. The reality when it hit was a bit different which is why the tories will not be getting in at the next election.

I agree I don’t think the Tories will or deserve to get in at the next election. The rest of your post is condescending and silly.. Politicians always exaggerate and talk nonsense. The official Remain campaign, rightly known as project fear, backed by government and tax payers money is a much better example

"The public" being who?
I voted for brexit i.e. leaving the eu, having a government that was democratically accountable, we are in that "sunlit upland" hence the government may be ejected for things that previously it could accurately deny having responsibility for
