They dont weigh at Bakewell.
I had 7 sim heifers about 400kg 20months +or- av £850 they would be R grades 20 steers similar size and grades averaged £940. I think middle of the road things are ok at the moment. There were a pair of flashy 13m lim heifers long with big arses around 350-400kg made 950 which I thought was incredable and near finished lim heifers 1300 that wont ever be worth that much again.
Aye but you pay dearly to keep them Bob. I always think they are ok up to the middle of March and a waste of time in May.
The one's bought before Xmas will be finished soon what then!! They would have been £150 less than today's though.Buy your cattle before xmas or be prepared to pay dearly
Not as much as I'd like. They would be o plus types.expensive!! what sort of weights?
I thought the grazing cattle looked a real good trade. I'm trying to work out who you are now! They dont weigh at Bakewell.
