Thanks for the replies when I took the revolving plate off with the cutting discs on the stainless. Nuts was welded to it!! Is this normal?? And also the bolts also had a tack of weld to stop them coming undone??

We used a 20 knife drum in a Claas 950, could get 5mm but was not able to get the most out of the machine....power was not a issue slowing the feed rollers and header down olds you back,but still able to achieve decent output a day.
