Sounds like your using chlorine dioxide not chlorhexidine, expensive but great stuff.

Use copper sulphate here although I'm looking to change because of building soil copper levels. Would use formalin but the bath is too close to the pit I don't don't want to be milking beside the fumes. Also used some intra hoof gel. It's brilliant stuff helped me get on top of my DD problem...

Does that not reduce there effectiveness? I would be putting them on top of clingfilm and black plastic. Is there an issue with the wire ends breaking off?
