Hi @cquick
Great work on those home build projects, I think 3D printers can be a game changer for farmers moving forwards.
Have you looked at Precision Planting components at all?

As the UK dealer for Precision Planting we can offer some awesome...
Hi all
Following on from my post in June I thought I would give you an update on this new larger 8m & 9m DSX platform because the wait is nearly over!
We will have several of these DSX running on farms across the world this spring of which 2 will be in the UK (1x in West England and 1x in...
Hi all, this is correct. The team at Horizon are currently finalising the project to launch an exciting new 8m and 9m platform. This DSX will be EU road legal, have 3 sections (1 belly section and 2 wings) and be available on the same 16.7cm, 18.7cm, 20cm and 25cm row spacings that we currently...

Here at Claydon we now have a Low Disturbance Kit as an option for our Hybrid drills which is designed to give farmers flexibility and stop the need for having to invest in a separate 'low disturbance' drill because most want to keep their standard set up with the front tine to be able to...
Morning All,
I thought I would let you know about some new versatility we are now offering for both Claydon Hybrid trailed and mounted drills. Our new LD offering gives our farmers the ability to easily interchange between the standard Claydon seeding set up and our new Low Disturbance set up...
Hi all, not one mention of a straw harrow?? Not sure if they're now deemed as 'un-cool' on here but in my mind they are an essential tool for keeping the slug population down in osr stubbles. It is also a very good tool at encouraging a weed chit with that lovely, friable osr top soil and long...
Hi @CJS this depends on which model of Sulky you have and whether you have the speed increasing kit.
I'm guessing if its a 3m SR Drill then you have the newer Sulky with the RDS Ultron control box and the speed increasing kit. When you start the Ultron its will go to 35, you need to reduce...
@JCfarmer as @Brisel said there are 2 different ways that people can drill OSR and other small seeds with a Claydon.
The 7 Inch A Share and Splitter Boot is best for heavy land because it will ensure the seed is kept on the bank and you wont loose any seed too deep (Probably 70% of our...
Claydon were up and running yesterday with a customer in Norfolk drilling OSR into grass as an experiment to see if such early establishment will help get the crop away from flea beetle. The idea is that they will graze it with sheep it it gets too established.... I'll keep you posted!
