Claydon were up and running yesterday with a customer in Norfolk drilling OSR into grass as an experiment to see if such early establishment will help get the crop away from flea beetle. The idea is that they will graze it with sheep it it gets too established.... I'll keep you posted!

Good luck. I think what they will find is the flea beetle will come back and bite them next spring and they will end up with lots of different growth stages.
