Would anyone happen to know the difference between a DP7F and a 140MA?
I'm thinking in terms of headstock strength, build quality, etc. Also the legs on a DP7F seem to be at right angles to the frame whereas on the MA140 they are swept back and curved, does that improve trash flow through it...
Sorry for yet another baler thread and apologies if asked before, but whats the general opinion on film on film roller balers, specifically a fusion 3? Looking at going back to a roller baler from the vario as most of what we do is silage, a couple of customers have asked about film on film.
Do...
We went from a 200 to 270. we love it, my son reckons its best tractor he's ever driven and hes been on big Fendts and JD's.
if it has a fault then possibly the auto command on the road isnt as good as fendt vario, so probably not ideal if doing a large percentage of road work.
Often use own seed and usually get someone in to clean and dress it, then the royalties are paid through them. If I drill straight from the heap then I pay BSPB accordingly. However the bill from the cleaners is alot of money, so wondering about dressing it myself through an auger into the...
Looking for a grain dryer, electric drive, oil fired. Ideally 12/15 tonne batch drier or small continuous flow. Could possibly change requirements if something would fit our system
We’ve managed to get the charge pump off having checked umpteen other things first and have discovered the small drive shaft driving it from the transmission pump is sheared, probably caused by the bearing going in the end plate of the charge pump. Thanks to all for your suggestions
yeah there is a pump on the end so that was my thoughts but i'm being led to believe that theres a shaft that goes all the way through. does sound a bit over complicated though to me. I'll try them tomorrow, thanks.
Got a oldish (1999) Chafer Mirage that has suddenly lost its drive, the brakes wont come off, and the steps don't go up which I assume are linked to the brakes. All other hydraulic functions (steering, drive to sprayer pump, and boom functions) are working. Having spoken to my local sprayer...
Does anyone have a source for the non genuine knives that bolt on to the rear beaters on the Richard Western muckspreader? Spaldings do the straight ones but not the twisted ones, can only source genuine off a dealer. Thanks
Hi. Has anyone ever recharged the damper ram on a kuhn plough? Theres an Allen bolt screwed into the end presumably for this purpose, wondered if I was right, what oil, and how much to put in. Going over a bit faster than it used to do.
Yes thanks. After umpteen discussions with folk including a nearby farmer, we’ve put a set of 3” Dutch openers on it. It’s transformed the drill. Bit of a hiccup with beans the other day but we’ve got some bean tubes for it now too. I guess you learn about these things.
Thanks to everyone for...
