Yes there is a bung on a 6497, MF handbrakes and technically a parking brake only and should never be applied when the tractor is moving, used correctly they’ll never actually need adjusting
The bung pictured above the filter is where you adjust the smaller ones. You will find that It is in the top cover on a 97, bit awkward to get too but can be done
Have a look at the belt driven lift pump and check for any play in the shaft or signs of fuel leakage, remove the fuel filter cartridge on the side of the engine and also check for the presence of any iron filings, if found this would also indicate a worn pump.
I would unplug the mudguard switches one at a time and make sure none of them are stuck closed, if you have already done so check with a multimeter. But usually if this is the case the linkage wouldn't work at all and you would get a fault code.
The buttons on the back mudguards are wired in series with the hitch switch in the cab, the rocker on the armrest is seperate, the fact the hitch switch doesn't work either would possibly indicate a wiring fault inside the cab. Or a short to ground somewhere that's caused all the switches to...
Check adjustment of the pedal, make sure it isn't hitting the stop before its fully contacting the top switch, The module shown in the attached pic bypasses the bottom switch and that code is for the top, I'm also pretty sure they won't work right on a tier 2 due to clutch pedal calibration...
This is correct, parts warranty will expire with the main machine warranty. If the dealer wishes to support you further it will be at his discretion. The 12 months parts warranty will only cover parts purchased on a retail invoice.
The cooling system should self bleed, I've never ever had one that hasn't, run for 10 min with the cap off and the heater on hot and it should clear. One thing to be careful of is the tractor has electronic climate control then there is a 12v pump in the cab roof to circulate the water, I have...
Had one here with a camless pickup that kept wrapping in short crop, we adjusted the drawbar height to gain a better flow and belt the outside tines up a little and it sorted it
Yes replace the pump with the correct item, I have seen error 1077 displayed before due to either air in the fuel or a restricted fuel supply, and people fitting incorrect filters, did the fuel injection people actually find a fault with pump?
Timing won't be out, as long as pump was pegged when you removed and refitted it and no ones turned the engine it should be fine, there isn't enough room in timing case for the gear to drop out of mesh, are you 100% certain its blead up correctly? Have you changed the filters and if so have you...
I have seen that yes, I think they still do it to be fair, its an acquired art to make it happen and a lot of drivers won't ever notice.
The new style boc switch will have no effect on it, all that does is do away with the troublesome bottom switch by detecting the lowest point of travel from...
