For the tire experts, I have a tractor on standard 650/85r38. They are due for replacement, can I get a 710vf tire the same diameter to fit on the 23 inch wide rim or would a 650/85r38vf be sufficient for drilling with a 3m combi. Tia
When you say channels, are they for storage or just to keep the slurry moving to be pumped away to some other storage facility on a regular basis? If this is the case i dont think the bugs will work. Have you any manholes along the 220ft to allow mixer access? Seems a shame to fill in something...

All I really want is to be able to set a straight line easily. Fields won't be saved. Might be useful to be able to set a boundary 24m into a field to help lifting and lowering a drill but this is not a necessity. Main jobs will be mowing, raking and drilling. What are the approx guide prices...
You know your costs and say ur running a buisness so costs plus profit = a commercial decision. You may find the fair market rate is less than your commercial decision so what will you do then? Market rate is not necessarily fair as we all know.
The op said his contractor bill is likely to be 7 - 8k a year. Its possible he/she won't save a single penny maybe even the opposite! He or she is on a mixed farm and might struggle to get round everything when it needs to be done
