bought a Fendt 515c at the start of this year , it went very well for a good few hours then there was water every were , so we took it a part one wet day at harvest time & was very surprized to find a liner had broken the top flange off, so we order new parts for it & then need a bit od spare time to put ity back together , so today had been spent cleaning every thing to make a start to rebuild it tomorrow , all new liners , seals , pistons & rings Etc

Any updates on this, have you got it up and running yet?

Speaking to a 515 owner a few years ago I seem to recall him saying that if you overload the front linkage you can 'stretch' the engine block as there is no chassis and the block cannot take the stresses.

It is a new type Bill Bennet hitch that slides back , we like them & find the very good
That the "uniglide" that doesn't have lift rods and simultaneously pulls in as it comes up?

Found them a bugger to judge easing the tractor backwards when the trailer eye is high off the ground, but lovely not having the lowered arms in the way when picking up at an angle

Looks a smart set up like that, How much work was there making them fit underneath tempted to fit one to mine in the future.
There was a bit of work in it , the hitch back plate had to be drilled to take the 4 pins that hold it in the ladder , then a plate was made up to bolt under the tractor with some spacers made in the lathe then bolted to the under side of the rear end then the hitch was bolted to the plate .
