I've tried broadcasting red clover into silage fields after first cut. That was a complete failure , but the red clover didn't take in that field with the reseed. pH is 6.0 in that field though so could be why.

I've got some fields of permanent pasture that I had sprayed for weeds 2 years ago. Of course now the weds are coming back but no clover and they were rich in clover. Someone suggested I could feed clover seed to young stock grazing the pasture and reseed the pasture that way. Anyone tried this...
