Haha!
If you're an existing customer and have any particular concerns, PM your details and we can discuss. As mentioned, we were acquired almost 2 years ago now and feedback from customers on changes introduced since then has been positive.
Rhiza marks the coming together of Rhiza and SoilQuest as well as the launch of a range of new digital agronomy tools which farmers can benefit from without having to adopt variable rate. The combining of the two teams means we now have 22 Account Managers so are able to offer a greater level of...
PM your details and we can have a look at your field again. Might be interesting to see whether current crop variation shows similar trends as those shown in 2013.
We use a range of data to help determine N rates: on-farm experience and target yields, GAI levels (from SAR radar data or in-field observations recorded on our Contour Mobile app), NMIN results if available and soil type. All this is fed into known agronomic models to help determine the range...
The amount of variation in the plan is entirely dependant on the variability of your soils. Our system can take into account soil texture, depth, geology, stone content, organic matter, moisture and more. Allowing you to decide how much you want to vary the seed according to the soil type...
Initially the fields are zoned using soil brightness imagery or a soil scientist. Each zone is then sampled every 3 or 4 years and sent to a lab for analysis. You are then able to view the results (for P,K,Mg, pH) in our precision farming platform called the Toolbox (and our new platform -...
Hi @Feldspar @Clive @JWWellburnagri @Lexion1000 @PSQ @Steevo @Grass And Grain
Apologies for the late reply. To answer a few of the queries raised...
The yield predictions are based on the LAI and crop biomass which is measured from SAR. This provides a more accurate 3d image of the crop, in...
As it's acting as a slave to the Nomad I'm not sure it should create any work orders....I think that would be if you were plugging the USB stick directly into the Amatron 3 and it saw 21 files. It does need a null modem from the Nomad to the amatron though.
On the Amatron 3, select 57600 for ASD baud rate. On the nomad, on the VRA job screen, go to the red tractor icon and create a new device setup using Amatron as the device type, check the existing working Kuhn setup for the comm port setting.
Sorry Phil! This is just for new customers, giving them access to the optical imagery, SAR, crop growth models and precision weather data. Planning functionality isn't enabled, that's just for you ;)
