Hi @ACEngineering , thanks for the reply, I thought it was probably a normal function however I think it is occurring a little too quickly, would it be worth checking the pressure in the accumulator? And if so, where on the machine would it be located? Very little knowledge of Manitous! Thankyou...

    2005 Manitou mlt 627 t

Hi, I’m having a problem with my manitou, basically all hydraulic functions work perfectly however if the steering wheel isn’t moved for around 10-20 seconds, all functions stop until the steering wheel is moved again, only a slight movement is needed, there are no warning lights and all...

    Machinery workshop tips

Hi @Flatlander these are some good ideas, I had planned on a separate compressor house with piped air, never though about a central drain but it’s a sound idea, planning on led flood lights on roof and around shoulder height leds around the walls. I am also planning on insulating so the plastic...

    Machinery workshop tips

Hi everyone, I am planning on erecting a machinery workshop, and have been doing a lot of research on what will be involved, however it is a difficult subject to find information on. I am hoping some of you can give me a few pointers. It will be a steel rsj construction, so how deep should I...

Signals look to be ok although there isn’t much of a voltage change when shuttle lever is operated

    Mf 6290

I have been over the loom in the cab several times, removed the inline resistor behind the plug for the shuttle lever as that can annoy some of them, but can’t see anything, all continuities etc. Seem ok, I have checked a few plugs outside for corrosion etc. But was wandering if the speed...

I replaced the auto 3 on this tractor about 3-4 months back, it was sticking in low range as calculator was corroded, I also programmed another new one in a few days back just to be sure it wasn’t a faulty new unit, but made no difference. Really at my wits end! Lol

Alternator voltage is good, never seen a b.o.c switch cause this issue but will try it just to tick it off lol

Sorry only getting back chaps, not pressure related does seem to be electrical but I cannot find a faulty wire, all continuities check out etc.

    Mf 6290

I am working at a 6290 that has a drive fault. The error code for faulty Reed switches in the f/r shuttle lever is on and it will drive in one direction but when you go to change direction, de-clutching or not, it will bring on the orange exclamation mark, beep and either stop driving or stick...
