Straight discs on Horsch

Ive had a thought , we have 6m Horsch sprinter and i reckon i want a row of straight discs at 250mm spacings mounted along the front box section,in line with every opener to reduce soil burst.

My question is where can i buy straight disc and mounting brackets, i would need 24 discs or the complete unit and bolt to the 100mm box section.

Keep it simple , and off the shelf i don't want to spend days creating bespoke products .

I had a similar idea for mine. Saw a picture of a seedhawk with a row of discs in front each tine mounted in a row on the front

The pump (left hand 'land' wheel at the back) looks like the factory "PPF" optional unit, a Demco "Lil' Thumper" piston pump. The Yanks use them for liquid starter fertiliser on a lot of their drills.
As to what its putting on - could be anything. We use ours (NB its NOT my video, but I have the same pump) with 7.20.0 for W-OSR and 26N- 5SO3 (because its whats in the tank anyway) for spring wheat. No 'starter fert' allowed on autumn sown cereals in Scotland.

Yes that is Bo from Denmark I look good and I have talked to him and he says it works well, my sprinter will be almost similar, but I have still the wheels in front and hydraulic adjustment of the disks. @SorenIlsoe has a other setup witch make him abel to change between cutting disks and row cleaners. Also wery smart.
And then there is one more with disks from a ploug mounted in front of each tine. Probably the cheapest and simplest way to make it. Video of this can be found on YouTube "co4 striptill"

Out testing the new setup today.

Because of the 80 mm of rain (and still raining) we have got since Saturday we haven't harvested any thing yet. So made the test in front of one of the farms on some grass.

Disks full down

Midt section had to be moved forward to clear the sides when folding.

Still plenty of room for turning.
