Agree wholeheartedly although they created the issue, you replied as best you could, she believes you are wrong after all she owns a nag for 6 days plus, then you will be the greatest a..h... On the planet and she cannot find enough evil lies to spread about you, your family and yard. There are exceptions some really nice honest ppl but they are not the rule

weve been in the stable /grazing renting lark for over 25 years and the best advice I can give is dont take anyone in from another yard ,only take people new to the area or those coming back to riding after having children or those just starting out and do not take anyone who comes with a flashy hunter and fancy car/lorry and trailer or someone who has just bought an expensive horse cos you will be blamed for it being crap due to poor feed poor grazing lack of facilities etc etc they are trouble as the only reason to leave another local yard is they are a bitch and you will lose the nice folks or they are in stabling debt and you are next to pay for their hobby and when you tell them to go will try to destroy your reputation

Exactly. There is a cohort always on the move. Beware of the movers, they move not due to livery yards shortcomings but theirs-hassling good clients, poor payers, one got a Vet call out on to Yards account, left the yard without paying and then told the Vet she paid the yard owner. Never came to the yard owners attention until he went to settle his account at the Vets by that time the the witch had moved.

Haha brilliant feel exactly the same. Having 5MW solar farm instead. Do anything to avoid horses ever ever again

It's done to death in most areas and new yards appearing all the time capping pricing. High expectations and falling prices - pretty much like every non niche industry in this country.

Having read some of the comments on a few of my wife's horse forums.Do any of them get on,so many experts.My wife asked what blacksmith are in the area for unruly yearling ,suddenly they are attacking a very good blacksmith don't care who's business they ruin.
Have been asked to look after 15 polo ponies for winter jury out on that one.
Answer to question horses,ponies OK owners need more training in house rules.
Sorry but I do laugh someone nearby has a horse Walker Yes I thought like a dog walker ,ride the damn things what's the point in having a horse if you just want to watch it go round and round.
Now I am in trouble with other half.

fed 100 polo ponies for 12years, when they have a rope round their neck they are totally compliant when loose in fields over winter they are just like normal horses, by heck they can run,never left a gate open when dropping bales of haylage in, a tractor has got a hope in hell in getting back to the gate before them
