One question.... I caught a chest infection a few days ago, is it possible to catch a chest infection from someone who has brongheitis? Or are they 2 different bacterias/virus's?
Coughs, colds, sickness and diarrhea and the inevitable headlice but unlike your stock, you cannot isolate, have high herd health status or a closed herd
Probably by doing an outdoors job and not mixing with lots and lots of people but the bad news is that over the next few years you will be in contact with the most infectious tribe known to man - pre school and primary school age children

Goodness knows...three of my kids get the flu jab, and the eldest was given a different one to the younger two!...I know this much though, what ever strain is doing the rounds over here is knocking people out with lung infections as a result

Yeah! When the little one started primary, Dad and I spent that winter coughing our guts out over and over again. They do say that following a flu jab you can get a lesser strain of it as your body deals with the live vaccine, it should pass quickly though and then protect for the reminder of the flu season
I saw an advert for the nasal vacc at the surgery when I went for my jab. Awful lot of people I know won't have it 'cos they claimed to have got a dose from it.
I thought that was a bit ambiguous when I wrote it.
