Overnighting at Hawarden Airport, put on a bit of a display before landing, doesn't matter how many times you see them it's one of those shudder down the spine moments

One of the things this country still does well
We get the pleasure of seeing them quite often round here.
They're still good, even when they are only practicing.
Did the summer holidays in one day and flattened some brass (Even while taking advantage of number 2's tiny build and telling her she was 5 for the duration of the day )
Went on a train to the bottom of Windermere
Sailed on a boat to Bowness
Had a ride on a road train......
Driver: "You realise this only goes to the long stay car park and back?"
Me: "Yes, but it's cheap"
It was actually the best commentary ever-think League of Gentlemen and the Stumphole Cavern sketch
Saw one of Beatrix Potter's farms on the way though
And found my retirement pad

Took a couple of tractors to Malham show on Saturday,got 2nd prize in the implement class for my Bamford mower.

Recovering from agonising stomach/bowel pain. Was incapacitated last night and could not finish my jobs. Food intolerances I think it was. Mum gave me some brandy with water and I felt much better, plus a nice stomach massage. Today I need to take it easy on the job front as I'm still recovering from a chesty cough... Oh the joy of it all!

Saw a bit of the display at Rhyl from the garden 11miles away.
They've just come overhead now doing the Cilcsin show fly past.
