Mzuri wearing metal

interested in people's thoughts on which wearing metal to use on the front legs. Bought the drill with part worn tungsten tipped points and wings once these wore out i replaced with the cheaper one piece Hardox points but these only lasted 40ha. How many hectares are people getting from the tungsten ones?

Depends on soil & conditions etc. Just use the tungsten tipped & edged ones; they are way better than hardox & much easier to change

Worth asking the team at Mzuri @penfold . There's a Mzuri user in Herts on abrasive soils who helped develop the tungsten metalwork. Philip Woods maybe? Is he a member in here?

Hello Piggy, if you post some photos of the worn tungsten metal I can advise as to wether ferobide can be used to make the whole thing cheaper to run alternatively if you send me your details will call in.

Used the double tiled tungsten point last year, plus tungsten on the wings, lasted ages.

Penfold works for Kuhn uk now.
