I'd vote for the Landy drain jetter too. I have plans to mount the tank on an old trailer chassis but not got there yet, carry it around on the loader just now. I have the sludge pump attachment as well, shifts about 300 litres a minute I think from memory. I have 100m of drain jet hose on the real and 50m of press washer hose. I didn't go for the gearbox, just let the tractor Rev in the 1000rpm box. If I don't pick up a 2nd hand gearbox somewhere might go back and buy the Landy one to retrofit.
Thats what I have, great little bit of kit. I like your castor wheels - think i'll do that. I mounted a tube on each side of the frame to hold the lances and sludge pump and bits and pieces.

@McD storage solutions for the lances and bits and bobs are on my list but haven't got round to it yet.
Has anybody fitted a ferret finder to the end of it so you can pinpoint collapsed drains and blockages that won't clear and dig straight down to them? I have been looking at a Deben one on eBay but haven't decided how to fit it to the jetter nozzle. The ferret finder is about £170.

No but a good tip is to mark your pipe with some coloured tape at 10/20m stages so you know how far down the line you are also a different colour @2/3m from the end so when your pulling it back out you know when your close to the end of pipe

Let's draw the pentagram and see if we can summon the demon himself:
@Landy washers

Brilliant little machines, as good a pressure washer as you could want, especially with the whirly nozzle. And I've not beaten the jetter yet, but don't have any long run drains here, 70 or 80m gets a bit slow going, but that's as far as I've ever needed to jet.
Has anyone rebuild a pump? Mine got hitched up the other day and run for a few minutes with no oil in the pump. By the time I got there it was knocking, but eased when I filled it up. It works, but just doesn't feel right. Is there a rebuild /service kit?

I've used a dreben ferret finder
Used plastic tape then duck tape set about a yard from the end
Worked ok but didn't last to long, after the second one pact up I got a cat cable finder and genny.....more expensive but better
I mark my pipe every 10yards with plastic tape useing snooker ball colours as a code
In shitty conditions a road compressor is handy for tracking the drains ...few drain rods In the bubbles ...welding rod to track em
Compressor can also unblock drains which is a nice side effect

What's the price of just the jetter system?

https://www.jetchem.com/Sonde-Adaptor.html think this is what you need. I fancy doing that myself but it makes me nervous shoving £200 beer tokens up an old drain!

Hi @Landy washers, the drain jetting hose and reel above, what size hose is it? 3/8 ?

I have been debating buying 100m of 3/8 hydraulic hose and fitting a jetting nozzle. I’m just a little uncertain how well it would pull itself up a pipe with the extra drag of the heavier hose and the rougher surface.

Yes the hose is 3/8" wire braided hose. We have found hydraulic hose to be too heavy for use for jetting and also as you say the rubbery coating causes too much friction. Our thermoplastic hose is much lighter and friction is very much reduced.

Thanks for coming back so quick, could you work out a price including delivery to N Ireland?
Not sure if I’ll be able to convince to old man to part with the cheque book but I can try.
