Some great pics @Badshot.
We went for the 3m this year to try, see how we get on, try different things etc and we are pleased with the results. The barley and wheat look good. So we are thinking of upgrading to a 6m GD. Any folks on here got the solid tyres? We did get a few punctures which where a bit of a pain!

I notice that weaving only make a mounted 3m now, the wider drills being trailed. Anyone know why they stopped the 4 and 4.8m mounted? Too heavy? Issues?

Cheers

They made me a 4m last summer so they will still make them I think it's because they are very heavy and lack down pressure a little. But I honestly think that if it can't get into the ground then it's too hard.

I needed to get my 3m up to 200kg / disc to get reliable penetration this year.
It was very hard, but I think conditions were perfect for low disturbance disc drilling this autumn.
I can drop those weights off if need be though
