RHI Payment timescales

Hi

New here just wanted to ask if anyone else is seeing RHI Payments rapidly approaching the 8 week payment deadline?

We where getting paid in approx 2 - 3 weeks until last summer when things started slowing down we are now looking at an average of 7 weeks.

I tried to get to the bottom of this with RHI a number of times but usually just hit a wall of "there's no problem we are within the 8 weeks deadline", but recently was told that the payments team is haemorrhaging staff and managers are having to do the processing work.

Interested to hear other's experiences.

Had a generation meter fault in December, changed the meter just after New Year. The meter reading is not required for payment calculations.
I have filled in all requests by return but have yet to be paid, so outstanding payments since September now.
It appears that OFGEM are slowing down all payments and correspondence to the maximum time.

Eon have changed round their FIT department and for 6 weeks we have had no responses to emails and FIT readings .Their resolution team are similar but after I eventually got hold of them they agreed to look into it.That was over 4 weeks ago and nothing.Have sent an email saying threatening to involve the ombudsman, doubt they will worry too much.

Looks like they have merged with RPA. Money due for months and payments with no notifications.
We have had an issue but despite fixing it 6 months ago we are well behind with payments. Our last submission is now under review.

Eon have got slow with FIT payments from our solar panels. They never acknowledge or answer emails and then, out of the blue get a payment without any VAT statements which after many phone calls do eventually a statement .Their system cant cope with the export side as they have admitted to me.
They could ,surely, have a auto response to emails ?
Ombudsman investigating.

Also having issues. They have made our registration process a nightmare, and it seems they’re horribly understaffed. Not good signs.

Exact same experience here. It's reassuring to know I'm not the only one.

Our last but one submission took a lot longer than usual. The most recent has been in review since the back end of June, so that's outside of their window. I'm not overly worried as summer use has minimal affect on cashflow, but I'm hopeful they're on top of things by winter!

This may be of use to you? It was forwarded to me a while back, but personally speaking my delays haven't been long enough to give me all that much to moan about.

====
The NFU is concerned to hear continued reports of delayed Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) payments for some farmers and would like to better understand the extent of the issues and the impact these may be having on farm businesses. Consequently, we are collecting evidence from those affected in order to strengthen the lobbying on their behalf.

If you are affected please would you take a few moments to complete our online survey here.

Thank you.

Kind regards.

Still no payment with RHI since last June, ive sent emails every month, they say they've have sent it to be verified for payment, this is on 600 kw straw boiler i have submitted three Periodic Data readings and due to submit another in 4 weeks that will be a years worth of readings with no payment, if it was a supplier i would have got a court letter. Its getting ridiculous now

They say bank details had changed but they hadn't, they've have sent several emails and I've been in contact on the phone as well saying they are getting the payment approved and sent out, well that's since September they are taking their time, its ever since the web page changed to the .gov format last year, we have been paid religiously since 2015/2016 when the boiler was installed. I've been sending emails every couple of weeks since February, i was told by another 600kw user they have to give you a reason or pay you within three weeks of you submitting your periodic data.

Strange one.
Can unions or small claims court move them on?

Have you had an audit? We went for 8 months without payment after an audit. Auditor was fairly happy at site but after her report to often they wanted a million questions answered. We ended up going down the solicitor type emails to them in the end, answering their questions, and then asking them questions back in return. They quickly changed their tune and got payments through quickly!

Had you carried out alterations from the original installation? just wondering as apart from fuel and maintenance records what else is there for them to query?
