I wonder if you ought to put some between the cab roof and the tank front as well so that you don’t get a build up of crap on top of your foam that might eventually cause extra vibration in the cab.
The crap can only get there from that gap above.

Found a beetle hunter who was very excited by this.
Which was thought to be extinct in the UK until last year, they are now calling it the Abberton Weevil as it is found all around the local reservoir.
I had seen them before but was impressed by this wasp beetle.
and the Ermine or perhaps Brown moth caterpillar next to it (he was a beetle expert not butterflies and moths)
