Hi, Anybody know what time fat lambs need to be penned by tomorrow ?please
Not many farmers in Devon get up by that time...are they sold in pens or put through a ring how do they weigh them all so quickly?Sale starts at about 9.30 ,to be sure not to be sold at beginning or end you need to be there before 7 I think, but as long as you get there before they start you will be fine
Everything is sold in pens around here, lambs go into a weighbridge and out the other side into pens as you unload , I've never sold in ludlow but there's normally 2 going at any time in welshpool, as long as there's enough drovers about they can weigh a lot of sheep pretty quicklyNot many farmers in Devon get up by that time...are they sold in pens or put through a ring how do they weigh them all so quickly?
Not me for sure ,but in the peak time (June and July)when lambs are been drawn out of more than one group off milk I think some of the keen ones must not go to bedNot many farmers in Devon get up by that time...are they sold in pens or put through a ring how do they weigh them all so quickly?
