Yams parking

I went yesterday and nothing like the scale of LAMMA. However, good show, not enough catering, long queue for food. Where LAMMA could learn would be to make provision for the smaller stands. Also, it was a nice day, wouldn't fancy it in inclement weather, or perhaps the sun always shines in Yorkshire!

Small local county dealer and manufacturers show .... outdoors in winter ... gets bigger and more popular ... traffic and parking becomes a problem ... calls for it to be moved to somewhere bigger ....

Sound familiar??

may as well find somewhere indoors now so as to cut out the next 10 years of calls for it to move indoors!

Is this the same show everyone says is better than lamma!?

It depends what part of the country you are from I would say, yams is brilliant for me as I’m only 30 mins away so all my local dealers there that I would possibly use to purchase something. Plenty of stands there of smaller local dealers/ feed suppliers but I suppose if you were coming to it from Norfolk it wouldn’t have the same appeal.

YAMs is great where it is. Parking isn’t an issue with the set up they have.

The fact it gets bigger and more popular each year tells it’s own story. Long may it continue in its current format.

If I wanted the full fat indoor experience I would go to LAMMA.

As it stands YAMs is 20 mins down the road from us so will always have my support.

Oh and in true Yorkshire style I never spent a single penny yesterday thanks to the hospitality of several companies which we do business with.

I always go between 11am to noon and have never had a job parking
Park & Ride was a good option, this year ....all dry and none of the usual sloshing around in a wet car park
Let the bus driver battle the show traffic instead
