better go easy on you lot for a little while
bitta slack day.....11pm last night we had 3 sets a twins all beltex/texel cross wilts which are my favourites....then this morning two sets of triplets...single and dead single....typically she has plenty of milk so she's in the adopter with two orphans that,so far, refuse to suck,,,,one of the triplets is K's so thats nice
dude comes up with me first thing and does lambing pens which is a great help he then trots off for his weekend chores at the care farm
i head home for shower + shave....passing a neighbours yard i see his teleporter burnt out ....he's there and tells me a fire started 2am near his workshop...he dragged the fire out saving his barns/pigs/cows/hay but lost the teleporter in doing so.....bad luck but could've been a lot worse....he has news on my other neighbour which sounds positive hopefully
i head down to arkwright cos i'm outta 'cherry' so need derv for my teleporter.....granville is using his van for deliveries....he's chittering about it....i suggest a bike......cinders' birthday tommoz....get card for mum to send...she'll get money but i buy some jellybabies for her as well
dude and i head home for lunch....my neighbour has just fetched a teleporter from YOMB.....drove it back from 'naam then out side his gate the seat switch decides that no-one is on the seat and refuses to move......a detour for us... more hassle for him

fekkers set me up good and proper today.....kept me up till 11pm last night then nadda......thinking 'lull' i got on with some other stuff...over did it and was knacked by 4pm ....mrs spin and i just finished daily records and ringing .... time for a rollie...... outta menthol filters....trip to arkwrights...CLOSED....so to garage which was quiet apart from a coupla london reg cars.......took on some 'supplies'.....choccy bar and yazzo drink.....must tease arkwright he missed out on a £3-29 sale
back at the farm .......pens needed littering ....just started then a spate of lambings...a days worth in 2 hours.....K there fortunately........one of K's ewes took a knock.....worried about her TBH

lambing goes on...if anything at a slightly accelerated pace......at current rates we'll finish in 9 days
my typical lambing day....to compare to yours
at farm between 6-7am having had quick breakfast,coffee and rollie.....assess and deal with overnight lambings/disasters
K arrives at about 9am.....we do chores + necessary ....depending.....she goes 11:30 ish
12:30pm is lunch + nap
2:30pm coffee+ rollie + check round
3pm mrs spin comes to farm and we go round recording and 'ringing'....then quick check of turned out ewes+ lambs (K+mum ride round in morning)
4pm K comes back and goes round with bottles checking....i refresh pens
5pm home
7pm HH does pony + looks round pens
9pm i do final check.....getting to bed 10-11pm
today however HH and cinders organised a picnic which we had in middle of a field....very nice .....bees buzzing... skylarks singing .....hares dancing....AND ONE FEKKIN EXLANA+LAMB OUT IN THE DISTANCE ....then mrs spin and i skipped back to the yard
