I hope to be well and truly retired before I get to that obsessed age!
My old man was a mirror image of yours. The most rediculous small thing became a major drama and ended up in WW3

when one of the lorry drivers retired, he said to me “your old man works best in a crisis, and if there isnae one, he‘ll create one”

never a truer word spoken!

Today I mentioned we were almost out of reciprocating saw blades for potato box repair. Fast fwd to half 3 and I’m on the receiving end of 10 minute tirade recounting his unproductive round trip of 50 plus miles in search of said blades.........but we could just go to the hardware store 3 miles away on Monday when he‘s open.......?‍♂️

Lockdown food rationing, not because there is a shortage in the shops but because it takes so long to do the shop we only do it once a week now and usually run low on something before the next visit.
I am really am sick of it. but have lost pounds.
