278sqq at cally, ewes numbers low, price very high.

Ewes much dearer in Ashford today at long last. Average was up over £20.00 and looks like staying dear now.
Hoggets were a good trade but beginning to be more selective.
The strong pound is not helping now at 87p which is the highest against the Euro for some time.
