Up to 4.7 and 3.7 now, not wanting a herd of 450kg jerseys so not sure how much further I’ll get, the NZ Friesian is fantastic on the British friesians though, breeding some real efficient cows. Lowering the mastitis rate has been an unforeseen bonus to.
All heifers to sexed jersey, tell you in a few years if that was that right chioce 🧐

Roddas 31.64ppl 4.2%bf 3.53% protein 19 litres top bands
Bit disappointed with that as butterfat was 4.35 last month except from a one week period at the beginning :( hopefully make up for it this month as milk is up to 21 litres and 4.5% bf and 3.6% protein at present

? Too much or the fact I don't know? 😂

the way I look at at it is 3kg is 6l which means 13l (last month, 15l this month) from forage which is what I was ta8ght to aim for at college!

The reason I don't know is because it's a simple feed system that doesnt print or connect to a computer, I could tell you what every individual cow is having and I know how much cake i order a month so can guess it's around 3kg but havent bothered to add it all up and divide by 80!
