case 856 xl

I have recently bought a very tidy 1986 856xl, it has the side drive shaft, built in Germany I believe. I am trying and failing to source a loader for it, I have found a tanco 978 which is bolted to a 844xl, would anybody know if it is likely to fit my tractor?? I am getting desperate!!

844 and 856 are the same tractor. The 844 is powered by a 4.4L n/a engine rated at 80 hp, and the 856 differed by having a 4.0L engine with a turbo to provide 85hp

We’ve had both,a hedge trimmer guard I made for the 844 had to be slightly modified to fit the 856,can’t remember what tho.
