Worst bit about it is the ad at the top always take a couple seconds longer to load, then just as you click on something the page shunts down and you either open the ad or select something else 😂 but very useful and tons on info
Pay a modest sum per month and it goes away. Works for me.

That's what you think. They're harvesting your data :nailbiting::nailbiting:. They've got sheds full of it ! :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
I think I saw your kidneys in classified.

we don’t sell data and we know very little about you all beyond what you all post publicly ……… ie everyone else knows as much as us !

you can get rid of ads

but not for free ! sadly we have to have either ad revenue or patronage to pay the costs of running such a big website

Genuinely didn't know you could do that.
Not complaining about ads, don't mind them in the slightest if im honest. Just they make the page move. Fully appreciate you need to cover costs etc and only right as your time is worth something too
Keep up the good work

So is the Forum backed bye Farmers or public ?
I feel its changed a lot as I haven't used it much lately ?
This is the 3rd forum spanning over 20 years of any consequence, the first was run by Farmers Weekly ,of which I was a member , not sure if there are any of those original members that are on here as they don't use real names , all forums depend on members support, lose that they are an empty vessel

Where else can you pick the brains of some of the most 'switched on' farmers in the UK, nay the world, for the price of.....

.....er, nowt (other than the electric to charge your phone)?

There's some very knowledgeable members of TFF - there's some that's not quite so knowledgeable too and there's some that are right ar$eholes but if you mind how you go, you can usually solve any problem that crops up.

It's 100 times better than what's on the telly nowadays and some of the threads have me in stitches every night.

It's good for morale too. If you've had a couple of dead sheep, you can bet your bottom dollar that some poor sod has had 5. If your tractor has been running a bit on the hot side all day, somebody, somewhere, will have had his on fire.

Even the 'powers that be' (Defra, AHDB, etc) realise that they can learn something from here.

Nothing's perfect and I'm not pretending TFF is but it gets a lot more right than it gets wrong.

I'd nearly (nearly, I said Clive) be prepared to pay for the privilege of using it

Totally agree, I was going to post the same. Let me add your points to my list.

You forgot that age old question: choppers vs wagons though.

And what pick up?
Fendt economy?
DD v plough combi?
At least we have a bit of rotation

Ahem....

Central storage v on farm
What side to fill a trailer

🙈🤐

Yep, still here. You may be confused by the fact most of the trending threads haven't changed in the last 10 years.

The favorites, in no particular order, are:

  • Are Fendts worth it?
  • Should I swap my SP sprayer for a trailed and vice versa.
  • Red Tractor is rubbish/fraudulent/useless and will be finished in 6 months.
  • The NFU is rubbish.
  • Defra are rubbish.
  • If only the TFF most vocal members ran the above they'd be so much better (but I personally just don't have the time).
  • Various threads started by Clive to increase post numbers
  • Clive saying how incredibly busy TFF is.
  • But by far the most popular - Things being better in the past* than they are now.
past* - non specific and dependent upon posters age.
10 months into owning a Fendt with the fancy new screens and I can say that they are, sorry.

Especially now i've had 3 weeks straight drilling with it and actually worked out what everything does.

Also, build your own storage, are you mad?
