Its a pitty there's no one in government with a long enough memory to know that hitler nearly won the war by sinking ships and starving us out!!!!

The current government are in exactly the same place 80 years on, there happy to see UK ag go down the pan and just think it can all be imported.
I've said it before but the sooner people start going to bed hungry the better.

911 taught us that modern warfare is economic

If putin is busy lobbing bombs at the grain ports he’s not bothered about the grain corridor.
that one is over and done with. Ukraine harvest will be lower so ports not needed any more so blow them up is his thinking to damage the country further.

We are expected to grease up and bend over when there is an unholy political alliance purposely depressing prices, and so I have no compunction in keenly watching any potential rally that arises from their intentions being thwarted.
Of course I am as horrified as anyone else at the plight of the Ukrainians, but this war would already be over if the primary political consideration was to end the war.

On the radio some politician was talking about the lack of grain coming out of the Ukrainian and the potential shortage worldwide, and the farmers around the world need to “step up” and produce more to keep the price down 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤯
The stupidity is incredulous - like production can be turned up or down at the flick of a switch - or that any other industry would be so philanthropic as to cut its own throat 🙈
