McCain tv advert says their farmers are growing potatoes using regenerative farming methods. Is that possible?
Friend of mine been head hunted to "work with" Mccain growers he has been on a lot of courses & seems happy.McCain tv advert says their farmers are growing potatoes using regenerative farming methods. Is that possible?
Not to mention some regen harvesting and regen removal of foot-deep ruts full of stinky water'So today on Countryfile we'll be taking a close look at some regenerative ploughing, some regenerative power-harrowing and then some regenerative bed-forming'.
All over Tictok as well.McCain tv advert says their farmers are growing potatoes using regenerative farming methods. Is that possible?
Was reading the packet of my Walkers crips at lunch time, they weren’t quite so BOLD in the claim as above, but it claims they only source “sustainably grown potatoes”. Oh yes, how’s that done then?!!!
Do you know what they're doing?McCain tv advert says their farmers are growing potatoes using regenerative farming methods. Is that possible?
So last year ord lad, keep up!'So today on Countryfile we'll be taking a close look at some regenerative ploughing, some regenerative power-harrowing and then some regenerative bed-forming'.
How's the northern hemisphere version of their regen stuff going spud?So last year ord lad, keep up!
How dare you!! @Clive et al helped put SFI/elms together to claim exactly that!!How's the northern hemisphere version of their regen stuff going spud?
All a bit of a marketing, increase sales thing really but some reasonable ideas in it down here.
Not sure it should be called regen ag, but potatoes are a crop that needs to be grown to feed the planet. Can't just grow a bit of feed wheat and wildflowers, collect the government money and claim you're saving the planet.
Good on them if it suits them, fortunately some people still grow spuds. They'll be a lot of hungry people without them. How dare you!! @Clive et al helped put SFI/elms together to claim exactly that!!

I don’t know how UK contracts work as there’s always open market crop grown and even the potential of imports but I can assure you the growers down here wouldn’t sign a contract if it wasn’t profitable.they might want to start by offering growers more “sustainable “ prices ?
