Was reading the packet of my Walkers crips at lunch time, they weren’t quite so BOLD in the claim as above, but it claims they only source “sustainably grown potatoes”. Oh yes, how’s that done then?!!!

Come down to the lower altitude of the fen and we will show you. All you need to do is tell us which adverb you wish to use and we will comply. 'Sustainably' seems good enough adverb to me. Other adverbs are available.

So last year ord lad, keep up!
How's the northern hemisphere version of their regen stuff going spud?

All a bit of a marketing, increase sales thing really but some reasonable ideas in it down here.
Not sure it should be called regen ag, but potatoes are a crop that needs to be grown to feed the planet. Can't just grow a bit of feed wheat and wildflowers, collect the government money and claim you're saving the planet.

Good on them if it suits them, fortunately some people still grow spuds. They'll be a lot of hungry people without them.
I don't think there's anything wrong with trying to do the job better though, which I think they're aiming to do.
Everyone has a different idea of regen Ag, I think it should involve livestock, a lot of arable farmers don't.
