Lease or buy pickup

Actually the bench seat in the newer 85 L200 4WD is actually quite good, been in plenty newer vehicle's/car's where the front seats have been shite in comparison including the BMW that I've driven over the last year.

Can’t get an L200 here anymore but having had one previously I wouldn’t have another. It’s no where near a Amarok or Ranger in comfort etc.

Considering they're very efficient at spamming me with 'opportunities', they didn't make much effort in contacting owners.
They sent the information to me three times so far , I did not bother to do anything , so they rang me to see where I would like to take it, going in December .

Spent a fair amount of time driving a V6 Amarok and have been in Ranger's,Hilux's, Navara's and Colorado's , the Triton is the only one I can drive 600km in 6 or 7 hours without getting a sore back, Amarok gets quite uncomfortable after an hour.
Hope the seat in the new Ranger/Amarok is an improvement.

Had no problems with my np300 (I am now touching wood)
But I prefer my old d40 better ride , more comfortable seats and a better driving position.
My D40 is now 10 years old 122000 miles, first 80 easy, before I got it. She's showing her age a bit but I have no idea what I would change it for.
As for comfort, I once drove my last one from Plymouth to Darlington, non stop. It was on fumes by the time I got home though, and I certainly couldn't do it now

My amarok is fine for long journeys. The l200 was horrendous though.

Why have Mitsubishi pulled the l200 out of uk. Just learned this today
Mitsubishi have actually pulled out all their business from the whole of Europe, not just the pickup from the UK. This having happened about a year ago. Some say they have reversed that decision but basically all they have done is rebadge a couple of Renault cars as Mitsubishi in order to honour contracts with certain dealers and their customers for service. Only in a few countries though, not relevant to the UK or about half the countries in the EU. Basically Mitsubishi pulled out three years ago, which was probably after you went into hibernation only to wake up in a Mitsubishiless brave new world.

I thought some of the shoguns and pickups around here were fairly new although Iv not been paying to much attention and time passes that quickly 3 years old still seems new. I just happened to be asking one of the l200 faithful about his this morning and he said they had pulled the plug on them. Yeah he told me it was old news right enough but I was never really a l200 fan so wasn’t really keeping up to date what they were doing.
I was shocked to find out later in afternoon that case and international have merged. Never seen that coming. 😂
