Fuel price tracker

I'm actually in the market for a bit of red very soon, but not sure how this works. By the looks of it no-one else has committed to my one (supplied by ExSwift in Stanford-no-Hope) so I'm a bit hesitant to commit, but then I suppose if no-one ever wants to be the first then it never takes off! My 2000l won't make much of a dent in the 36000l left.

They're showing at over 76p for me on FarmDeals, which is more than I'd want to pay now (holding out to get as close to 70p as possible!)
And I've never dealt with them, so presumably I'd have to jump through the hoops to get verified with them as an agricultural user (delivering into a yard full of cows and tractors doesn't seem to be enough these days!!)
Plus the risk of them not liking my tanks. They're well specced legally, but you have to climb some brick steps to fill them, and you hear so many scare stories of unknown drivers leaving you in the lurch if they don't like the layout.

I think this is a really good idea, so please don't take this as negative, but I'm just voicing my hesitancy at being the first to jump in.
Thank you for the feedback. It's always good to hear thoughts and opinions to help shape the buying group into something more valuable to our members.

We will be accumulating all our Exswift orders together, we have had a healthy volume come through, so could be worth a join.

Also it is non commitment, so if you don't like the price or if there is any errors you don't have to actually accept the order.

If you want to email me across your information on tanks and the details around filling them I'm more than happy to pick up the phone with Exswfit and explain the situation?

I've jumped in with a 1000l (enough to get me through the winter feeding until I need to do a bit of drilling in the spring), so let's see what happens!
Thank you.

I will be wanting some in the new year, just haven’t the funds to commit at the moment, you dont have to commit to the collective deal price though @bovrill I will defo Join the deals in the future. It’s interesting how the farm deals price for our local supplier is usually 5 or 6 ppl cheaper than if i phone them direct.

Watched a clip this morning. Russia and Saudi's cutting production to push prices up but the USA aren't playing the game and have upped production to highest levels ever so they are now self sufficient in production.

It'll all be to do with the petro dollar but the USA aren't letting opec have their own way and are fighting back. But by increasing their production they're keeping the price low for the others.

This from Griffiths Leintwardine Facebook and just shows the amount of profit being taken by most companies:

The market dropped quite tidily over the last few days and blending prices between what we’ve got in the tanks and what’s coming to us gives a five pence reduction on diesel and three on unleaded.
That takes diesel to 140.9 and unleaded to 130.9.
OPEC are probably going to have a tantrum fairly soon, so enjoy these naff rather than completely naff prices while they are there.

Can't follow FarmDeals.

Above it says Kero from £.5966. On their site Watson Fuels Kero is quoted locally at £.757. (16p per litre Difference)

Why such a difference?
I find it's a good reference point; to drive fuel reps for a deal; just ordered with local firm ( good 10 mins debate) red .72 kero .66, a lot less than where they started.

The fuel price can change based on where you are and what suppliers are available to your location. We are always working to get the cheapest prices available and add new suppliers to get better pricing.

We are also introducing our fuel collective deals to help you leverage, keep an eye out on the app for these as we'll be looking to introduce them with more suppliers soon.

If you want, email me your post code and location and I'll have a look at our suppliers for you. Ed.seed@farmdeals,ag
