we surpassed 2019 some weeks ago round here.It is how it’s looking around here, rain as the frost was going has knackered the job, now have standing water like 2019

Wish I knew.
I heard ÂŁ16 for a 9kg net, but I'm selling locally for much less, might be why I'm so busy. I mostly sell on the stalk, crop must be worth about the same as the land it is growing in. Short term weather thing, perhaps, will know better in 3 weeks time.

Yes & 5 weeks of intense drought in May/early June. That cost me a lot of money.

I would not be out tonight, that is for sure.Much respect.
I've a few fattening lambs inside, could do with bedding, I'm leaving it till morning. TV aerial has blown off the house & it is mental rain coming down now. Local garage has a big tanker sucking out the forecourt. It was never this bad in 2019, in fact I'm sure we had a decent couple of weeks December 2019.
I hope TFF is good tonight with no TV, going to bed when I run out of logs for the fire, not fit to open the door.

We were told the rain would ease after dinner.

This seems to be a very bad storm. Bet there is a fair bit of damage.
Just took dogs out and "something" is banging in the yard....
No doubt I'll find out what in the morning!
