His reply last night was all is not lost as they have let it on a fbt
Ffs economic minister future leader my arse what f**king change has this country got with pansies like him in charge
so, let me get this right, we have to buy a farm to support jobs in the countryside, as jobs are of vital importance, but changing agricultural support that could cause the loss of 5500 jobs in the countryside is not important. Ah I get it, green man jobs are middle class, but agricultural jobs are working class, all clear now!

I don’t know what the reason was buying the farm in the first place ??
There was a stink over it at the time over someone being paid a significant amount of money for some feasibility study and it not going through proper channels

I believe it was to safeguard the jobs in the green man festival, or at least that was the stated aim, but wasn't the owner who sold the farm in some way connected to the labour party in Wales?

No, no, no. In that ADAS led study, they stated that there wouldn’t necessarily be 5500 jobs lost. They reasoned that, as we all worked on average more than 37.5hrs a week, we could all just do a few less hours. Some of those cast aside would also be employed in tree planting and maintenance, so all good.

I’ve just come back from a 130 mile round trip to Swansea, stating this morning at 5am. ’Twas lovely on the way down, ignoring the 20mph limit by between 10 and 15mph depending on conditions. On the way back there was a clown in a Sssangyong Tivoli who went 3 to 5mph below the speed limit and, because the roads were busy mid morning, amassed a queue of at least 25 cars behind it for miles and miles. There aren’t too many 20 limits on this route but even so it buggers the traffic flow for many miles between limits. Almost all limits, especially in Carmarthenshire towns and villages, have reduced speed limits by 10mph compared to what they were a decade ago and for no good reason whatsoever. 60 has become 50 and 40 has become 30 and the 30 has become the new 20, which is the speed many bicycles ride through there.

you call him a clown but are you going to pay his fine and increased insurance costs if he goes over the speed limit accidentally and gets done? The welsh people voted for the government and so have to obey their laws.
