Just seen in FW that RT plan to press ahead.

RT(and so NFU) have now come out with it.
So that's the battle lines drawn..
If you want GFC, then stay in nfu
If your again it, join BFU

Also looks like we need to talk with NSA
Anyone with contacts at top of NSA?

Even though the Campbell Tickell review recommended not to do anything until the 2nd review was done...

they say that review could be at least 1 and maybe 2 years away !

If they are going to carry out this theft they wont wait that long

......... Mass organised Red Tractor resignation on the same day if they dare IMO, I think there will be PLENTY of support if co-ordinated properly

If it was going to happen it should have happened already. We need to take some power back or at the very least have some sort of display of command over our future.

in the other thread somewhere they’re all worried about some Melville chap which is probably valid but what better way to dull the appetite for actually doing something.

I agree get it organised

If they push ahead with this GFC theft I will do ! - it would need careful planning and LOTS of co-ordinated cooperation to get the massage out via every social media and press channel posible. - I know this has the support of serval large follower tubers, big following X and Facebook accounts plus a few of the ag organisations / stakeholders currently battleing with RT for their members and of course the various protest groups that are growing fast right now - the numbers would be significant and enough to end this

A downloadable simple standard letter drafted to demand removal of all your data from there systems and resignation from the scheme on a date we would need to set and announced last min so they cant plan ahead / stock up etc

I reckon a huge number would do this right now, mills and processors would have to take the produce without assurance or risk serious food chain disruption

Needs done on the day they launch GFC really- if it’s 1/4/24 then that day.
I’m betting they will just quietly ‘make it available’ without any fanfare.

We need a mass resignation pro-forma along the lines of:
“I hereby resign from Red Tractor on such a day as you launch /make available GFC, kiss kiss A.N. Other Farmer”

the day needs to be a surprise or they will plan and stock up

Make sure it’s inclusive across all sectors and a simple list of what people are signing up to if this goes ahead

This is what we need to do and it is starting to all come together

but realistcally, they know they will find it difficult to stock up. JiT supply chains means stock doesn't get held very easily.

agree - it would break supply chain pretty fast

this does need to be done in a planed and coordinated way but i believe support is there and ability / network to promote it massive

everyone has different membership dates so key is requesting data removal and permission to share plus wording resignation letter to specify a day

maybe even some “ NOT farm assured” stickers even ! 🤣

A simple short letter sounds easy, but I think seriously needs to be well written by a legal expert.

Appathy rules.

It's far easier to say what's wrong with protesting/protesters than actually standing up and doing something.

What do we what?
No that.
When do we want it?
Sometime later.
