The only way prices get a permanent lift is if buyers get used to paying them. Every time there’s a lift these comments come up, they need to stay at a higher level for as long as possible so they become the norm.
Exactly my thinking.....what good does it do if the people that produce a product are saying it's too expensive.
I've never yet had a rep come in my yard and explain his product and then add 'but it's too expensive for what it is really '
Crazy talk that, should be talking the job up🤷

To be fair I have had a few machinery reps say that in the last year lol

The old saying comes back to mind reading this thread this am, “low prices solve low prices and high prices solve high prices” it happened with grain, it will happen with lamb and beef too. Just take longer.

Beef will stay around where it is,lamb will drop at some point and grain will rise.

Be plenty, but hopefully the third class stuff gets killed 👌
An overheard comment (I know shouldn't been listening).
" Going home and go through ewe lambs. Going to pull out anything that will finish in next month"

That to me would say that a lot of top ewe lambs will be killed. Maybe second draw as well.

What will it leave?

I should add that would be a place that sells regular aged cast ewes (4 crop), so probably going to take an extra year out of ewes to keep numbers up.
