Think markets will be getting worried about paymentI’m not worried one bit
Could be. The main man at one mart I asked him if the commission was helping the job out he said it had made the world of difference.Think markets will be getting worried about payment
Shouldn’t let them build up more than a weeks credit. Plenty of others that will come and buy with the trade like it is.Think markets will be getting worried about payment
It would take a good few weeks of magic treatment with those ones i think. They may be at Sedge on Sat ha ha...all strawed up and looking bonny after the magic treament
They won't be complaining about the commissionThink markets will be getting worried about payment
But without markets do you think sheep prices would be anywhere near the level they currently are? They won't be complaining about the commission
Some weeks more ,some weeks less,But without markets do you think sheep prices would be anywhere near the level they currently are?
They’ll be a tsunami of tears if it doesn’tCattle in Hfd yesterday were a serious trade . Fat is going to need to hold up for a long time to justify this type of money .
I put a few stores in on monday (need the space). I dont normally but for what they sold for at 11 month old i might take the rest of the pen. They’ll be a tsunami of tears if it doesn’t
Twist or stick is a difficult call on a trade like this.I put a few stores in on monday (need the space). I dont normally but for what they sold for at 11 month old i might take the rest of the pen

friend of mine had a ruck of good quality NZ suff x mule hoggs he was going to run through , most sold now , said wasnt going to keep all summer and get £150 in autumn maybe , been caught to many times in past . Its not a criticism ,but people buying replacements need to bear this in mind next sales season we all likea bargain but killing hoggs (or lambs previous summer) have been in the £150s at some point in the spring for a few years now , breeders need an incentive to keep something to farm all summerWill there be any shearlings about that have been run dry all summer come autumn sales?
Trouble is- some of the guys (not all but some) who sell all there lambs in the Autumn aren’t seeing this high lamb trade yet, if stores are averaging £85 next autumn that farmer can’t budget his replacements in on fat lambs at £160friend of mine had a ruck of good quality NZ suff x mules he was going to run through , most sold now , said wasnt going to keep all summer and get £150 in autumn maybe , been caught to many times in past . Same applies ,everyone in the chain needs an incentive not just the store lamb buyers , they have done pretty well over the last few years i know its a lot of work but time to pass a bit back to the breeders. Maybe time to hard feed your lambs and not sell store ,i will be this year , only way to push the store price upTrouble is- some of the guys (not all but some) who sell all there lambs in the Autumn aren’t seeing this high lamb trade yet, if stores are averaging £85 next autumn that farmer can’t budget his replacements in on fat lambs at £160
Hopefully this trade will be still flying and everyone will see the benefits
