There’s always someone to sellIt'll go up if no one sells any
@Brisel has released that maize onto UK market.Down £1.50 already, wtf is going on
If the corn in the shed goes up £50/t and your spring crops do sub 2t, then no.Ive been trying to decide wether to sell grain in the shed to finance the sowing/resowing the acres that have suffered or are now looking like it wont be profitable to even try , cant ever remember a time when ive paid more than a passing glance at not having land cropped. Strange times we are in !!
You need to get yourself on holiday with me and forget the farm for a week, submerse ourselves chasing scantily clad ladies around an island in the med whilst we drink away our profits/losses.Ive been trying to decide wether to sell grain in the shed to finance the sowing/resowing the acres that have suffered or are now looking like it wont be profitable to even try , cant ever remember a time when ive paid more than a passing glance at not having land cropped. It could but ive never had such negative thoughts re cropping and doing nothing would remove the risk as would need both the £50 and plus 2.5 t to push on .If the corn in the shed goes up £50/t and your spring crops do sub 2t, then no.
But it could very likely be the other way around
All I will say is, I have very little inclination to plant anything at the moment, but I rarely do. I hate spring cropping and don't think my land is suited to it.It could but ive never had such negative thoughts re cropping and doing nothing would remove the risk as would need both the £50 and plus 2.5 t to push on .
I currently am on ski hols problem is its raining (the stuff is following me ) not the much needed snowfall mindst im with my beloved wife of nearly 50 yrs and the weather or the price of grain doesnt matter as we make our way through lifes trials and tribulations your post has just reminded me how lucky I am , cheersYou need to get yourself on holiday with me and forget the farm for a week, submerse ourselves chasing scantily clad ladies around an island in the med whilst we drink away our profits/losses.
Never know, might find a hairy that wants to come lamb ewes with me and not f**k my tractor man.
f**k I hate my ex.
we have sp bean seed on hand so that might be an option but its too cold and wet yet , sp barley here is not a promising idea though the straw may well be worth more than the grain , not totally given up yet but its going to be a close call ,the wheats sown prior to 12th oct to be fair are rapidly improving now getting hold of the n fert , the other saving grace is our early last oct joining up to sfi in terms of monies coming in will help the jobAll I will say is, I have very little inclination to plant anything at the moment, but I rarely do. In what way do you mean?sounds like yesterday's jump wasn't really due to any 'news' as such, maybe it was more a correction after the recent 'overselling' of wheat.
Russian wheat feels like it's still the main problem for our market.
Rub it in 4course. Just like I’ll be rubbing in the sun tan lotion on some young hotties on the continent soon enough!I currently am on ski hols problem is its raining (the stuff is following me ) not the much needed snowfall mindst im with my beloved wife of nearly 50 yrs and the weather or the price of grain doesnt matter as we make our way through lifes trials and tribulations your post has just reminded me how lucky I am , cheers
