Religion is being shrugged off as its absurdity becomes obvious to more people, to paraphrase Holbach, ignorance of nature created religions understanding of nature destroys it. And that is accelerating, but only where religious dogma is not forced into children. But its adverse influence is still very much present and acting as a brake on many things that need changing; one of the worst here and now is its opposition to the right to die by assisted suicide.

I could very well end up as a bloke on a street corner yelling at embarrassed passers-by about political matters; but I'd never descend to the stupidity of superstitions and invisible friends - that would just be too embarrassing.


As I wrote above, the protections were always there in the Common Law, the HRA just made them more obvious and, for some anyway, more profitable...

These weren’t economic migrants they were at lot of very angry people with nowhere to go. They didn’t go to Lebanon to drive buses or fix mobile phones. They ended up in squalid camps . because they’d lost everything. I don’t disagree with the fact that allowing mass immigration of people with a totally different culture to the indigenous population will cause issues.

You have been repeatedly asked to substantiate you accusations, but you don't, because you can't. Specify the 'poison' you attribute to me, give us links, do it now why don't you?

When I was green that did, I admit, used to annoy sometimes; but that went pretty quickly, and was replaced by the pleasure in either exposing them or watching them make fools of themselves by running away from trying to prove their lies. The only difference is that here on TFF, unlike in the Courts, there is no independent arbiter to force the liar to come up to proof, which is what you play on.

I call for you to prove what you claim, you just keep running away from doing so... which says it all.
