Ford 4000 engine oil and hydraulic/ transmission spec

What oil specification are people using these days in there diesel 3 cylinder 1974 Ford 4000, ( 15/40 engine and multi G (10/30) in back end. was what I was thinking. Can someone point me in the right direction where to check oil levels in gearbox / backend no dipstick.
On another note anyone know what lbs of force does the radiator cap have on tractor came with a 7 psi and I have bought a 10lbs one does this matter?

Note original cnh oil was multi F which was a thicker oil but even if cnh dealer has old stock it will be stupid price, as multi G is thinner it may induce a hew oil weeps and never forget 2-3-4ooo had separate oil levels on transmission and rear axle.
