Bought a run of these ewes for £105 in lamb in March 2022. All 1st croppers and gimmers. You could spilt neeps on their backs when they first arrived but by Christ they've been good ewes. Unfortunately the lad that sold them seems to have moved to cheviots
You couldn't ask for much better than that, great outfit.

We have a handling system made by rancher.they gave up but I think someone else took it on.if it's still of the same quality it's bloody good stuff.

Try “Pink Stuff” it's meant for cleaning bathrooms but I use it on my hands and it works wonders. Also apparently it's organic so no nasty chemicals.
I'd sooner have a real job at the moment!

Be careful buying from Ron Finney then. Some of his gear is great, then the next lot looks exactly the same but weigh 1/2 as much… these hurdles we’ve got are grand things, but in the 10 hurdles there’s 3 different weight grades even though they all look the same!

Calling a cost saving idea “stupid”… abit of the arable farmer coming out there me thinks. No dedicated sheep farmer would ever view a cost saving as “stupid”

Have tried thinners as well. Not much good.
Don't know if it's the spray or things been trying to get it of, but fingers feel like skin is a size to small.

How has everyone managed with the deluge of rain yesterday evening?
Lucky in only just started lambing but got two fresh lambed pairs into shed before dark, Son was getting one to three day olds to shelter, picked one chilled lamb up and on heat has come round. Think have one lamb missing.
No fresh lambed on first light round, off out again now as looked to be a few picking good spots. (Not dry spots as probably 40mm rain last night ).
