Well this ewe almost achieved her goal in life until the 410 beat her too it. Prolapsed before lambing, then stitched and given oxytocin. Conveniently she sat on her pair of lambs while in the pen 🤦🏻‍♂️.
A wise man once told me to always get someone else in & never to shoot your own sheep at lambing time just in case you got carried away shooting them & didn't stop...............40 years later I can still see his logic :unsure:

I don't have a gun. I was thinking about a bolt gun the other day to dispatch anything on welfare grounds then thought I don't really trust myself to have one of those either, no sheep would be safe

Local chap blew his finger off with a bolt gun not so long ago. Dispatching a pig and it moved just at the wrong time. He would have known what he was doing, just got unlucky.
That puts having a bad day into perspective.
