could see that was hard to share, but glad he was in the truck to share it. it's ok not to be ok. sometimes the people who seem the happiest are the one's battling the demons. personally my inbox is open to chat to anyone. i would rather listen to your problems than your eulogy 👍🏻
Hope he's getting some professional help too.
Being able to talk and have friends is important, needs a bit more than that though I think.

These guys are in it to make money and they know the way to get views. The % of farmers in the total viewers gets less and less as they get bigger viewer counts. Cant blame them for working out what gets views, thats what gets them the money its business
Are you referring to tom or gcs?

yeah, obviously they’re all in it for the money. What other instinctive is there for going about your day to day life, filming everything, then spending time editing the full thing?
That said the worst ones are the ones who make it clear as day they’re only interested in the pay cheque every month and they’re the ones who constantly post the same repetitive shite, or need to clickbait every video.
Think the worst offenders are Tom Pemberton with his clickbait, Joe Seels with his repetitive “ here’s the straw bedder working again “ videos and Ollys farm who never actually shows himself doing actual work, but talks about “ I’m buying this, but comment if I should by x,y or z “ rinse and repeat in every video!

Saw a post on Facebook regarding Michael from GCS, Hopefully it’s just a misunderstanding or miss communication.
He may not be everyone’s cup of tea but glad he was found safe.
Best wishes to you if you’re reading this Michael 👍
Have you seen Michaels latest video where he opens up a bit about the strains in his life? fair play to the man

It’s about making time, it was a toss up between giving the nation what it wants, more tremendous content, or getting the rest of the wheel nuts anodised.
the wheel nuts Will have to wait, my fandom is more important 👍

You should prioritise having the wheel nuts anodised, you don't want something important like that holding you back. (y)

That is true to some extent but you can make interesting videos and have a popular following without appearing a complete numbskull or making your industry look bad.

I know you guys don't all rate the Millennial farmer but he talks to his audience, shows the world the reality of farming and doesn't take himself to too seriously whilst doing a job I think anyone either side of the pond would give the nod to without acting like a moron.

So it is possible.

Away from farming, I’ve been enjoying this guys videos, very good at explaining the intricacies of aviation to an interested outsider.

the sponsorship part is easily skippable.

I'm in it for the money.
There's obviously the drugs and fast women but it's mainly the money.
Last year the money helped towards re-homing nearly 150 dogs, pay vet fees, provide food and bedding.

I kept the drugs and fast women for myself...

He is really really good and an excellent advert for the airline industry. The way he presents it is very obvious he has a background in the real leadership you would expect from a person in that vocation.

The Air France crash video presentation he did was very very good.

At least you’re incredibly honest about your drugs and fast women… I mean wealth.
So is there a shortcut to gaining that income for someone that’s interested in starting up a channel? Asking for a friend….. :sneaky:

I wouldn't want to compete with the Mucker so I would probably just own a string of racehorses or perhaps just run a string of onlyfans 'performers'. I think I would try to cater for the really underserved section of the market- tentacle, gas mask and spud-gun porn, I'm sure you are well familiar with the sort of stuff.
