I might have the years wrong but kept 500/700 hoggs over in 2012 did fairly well out of them 2013 decided to do 3000 and sold them all for £60 ish
If my lambs went up £35 as stores, I’d sell them all as that and not bother with them as hoggs, i don’t think the moneys that good to keep them through at that, would much rather sell as one lot in September and not have the risk.

Store price was getting sorely tempting last November I must admit. In mid January I wished I’d just taken it and sold them, then by mid March I was glad I hadn’t. But yes, stores at £120 in august… I’d be having a draw
