That video is slightly flawed tough surely?

The vaccine is a live vaccine so you would still see bacteria in a new bottle as well?

I would like to see a fresh sample of vaccine under the microscope.

And then a further test would be vaccinate two groups of sheep with both new and old vaccines. And then look for an immune response in both groups.
I don't think it's a live vaccine.

I do know it once had preservatives, because I'd buy enough in best value sized pots for two doses for my bought in stores, but then that was discontinued.

So either:
Ovivac P+ still works, after the time honoured practice of keeping it in the fridge for a week or two between usages; evidenced by the treated lambs not dying.
Or, It doesn't work at all, and the lambs are still not dying, because the treatment is merely another very expensive and unnecessary insurance.
If they wanted us to do it the right way, surely it would be available in 250ml bottles like Heptavac is. Instead it comes in a too big, but more economical 500ml, or a ridiculously small 100ml, with predatory pricing.

for clarification for people away from Devon a completely different firm, mole avon which is very farm focused and a firm that you could not ask to be more pro farming, very helpful farm experienced staff in my local store not to be confused with others of similar name

Pity they used a similar name , the assumption is they are another trading arm of MVF , like Bridgemans , Nichols etc , a different name would have made a clear distinction, I understand prob why they did it but could be tarred with same brush if all goes south with other firm

I was told on Saturday on good authority that the cyber attack which MVF suffered a few months ago cost them £10,000,000. The recruitment freeze is as a result of that, along with stopping charity support etc.

Are you sure.............I doubt any company MV size will survive that !?

£10m in sales.....not profit though.

I guess the person responsible for their IT system needs to be given his P45 in that case.

I assume it’s a combination of lost sales while their system was down and IT costs to replace whatever parts of the system were compromised by the ransomeware. Lost sales will obviously be revenues rather than profit.

we know an 'office' person, one of those that had to deal with the fallout, 10mil could even be a low figure.

and the new system is driving staff potty, they hate it.

bridgemans returned to 'paper' bills, written by hand, not finger.

they reckoned it was far more efficient, and easier.

full marks to mvf, for not paying the ransom demanded, not to sure they expected the hassle sorting it out though.

bit like harm buildings, you keep adding bits on !

Sounds like we are lucky, there are at least 2 SQP at Melton Mowbray so nearly always someone available. The staff currently there are pretty good, most have been there a while and know their stuff.

The 60's spawned co ops / buying groups local outward looking improving business minded Farmers mentored and organised by one or 2 key people (not farmers ) were instigated .
Mole Avon 's first premises was at the then pretty derelict/without a purpose Downes Mill ( Downes Estate) next to the River Yeo / River Creedy ( which is now Ladds Gun shop which was later moved there by Don Ladd from the top of the High street ) I remember going there in the very early 70's with Dad to collect raddle and markers and other very basic stuff they had started supplying at lower cost and in a more wholesale way instead of getting it from reps / vets etc.
The name: mole comes from the Latin for mill/stone and avon is an old name for river.
Local farmers in the catchment areas know the difference and other non farming customers know nothing nor does it matter to them, its actually not a problem.
