If I'm not mistaken, there's 32 million passenger cars in the UK (ignoring commercial vehicles), he'll need a hell of a front room haha! Like you say, won't happen. Some other Prime Minister's problem to say 'sorry we couldn't meet this target, but we tried *sad face*'
This Government loves a good headline to make them look like they're taking action. Keeps them popular, you know?
In the end, they'll change as little as they can to make it look like they successfully took action.

That's what it's sold as. Price-wise, when I called Crown Oil for a quote on HVO it was around a 30% premium on red, so not a light decision hence why I wanted to see if anyone has any experience with it.
I'm considering going 'green' with the gas oil I order, but not sure which of the various alternatives is the best value for money green alternative to red diesel (because it seems like there are a few options).

Australia has its own set of immigration rules that work quite well for them and don't stop skilled UK workers from finding work there. Why change it to let in the UK's unskilled (even if the cost of getting there is inhibitive in itself)?
