    We've had 420mm since 1st October, never seen fields in such a state, lakes everywhere. It dried on top for a week, neighbour , redrilled some fields ,and they are now underwater again , so that's 2 drillings he's lost.

    Changing wheel bearings , stub axle threads worn , have put 2 washers on as a spacer to find good threads. What's easiest way to repair this properly, can I use a die to cut new threads into old ones , use a slightly smaller nut , or Is there a better way.

    A neighbour was looking into buying a direct drill, the grants available for this at the time sparked his interest, til it became apparent the grant was only available on 6m or bigger, if this is true then yet again skewed in favour of the big boys.
